To save her he does the unthinkable……he bloods her. When she transforms, she only remembers fragments of her human life such as her age and year of birth. As several years pass she decides to embark on a journey to recover her memories, learn the circumstances of her death. The sequence of events that follow will either make or break her relationship with Dimitri. Meanwhile, Dimitri also seeks to find out more about life before becoming a vampire, and to protect Vanya from the demons of her past.
